How's My Driving?

"So, herewith, the terrible tale of the 'Curse of the d'Urbervilles'. Read it by candlelight at midnight and be prepared to whiten your hair and soil your drawers."

This journal is for Sebastian Moran of Sherlock Holmes fame, taken from The Hound of the D'Urbervilles by Kim Newman, an offshoot novel. As such, he is pre-Reichenbach, Pre-Empty House.

Let me know how I'm doing or if I mess up with anything. I'd appreciate it!

reading your threads is like reading all the chapters of the hound of the d'urbervilles that kim newman forgot to write

seriously, your sebastian is so amazing, and so in character, and such a joy to read. he's witty, sarcastic, dry, dark, and really just perfect. it's like your take newman's interpretation and run with it until he's really your own creation

the threads with him and a_spider are my favourite things. please don't ever stop playing him

this is more fangirling than critique, but oh well

Who...are you...anon...let me love you....

Seriously, thank you so much. I love how Newman wrote the character and I try my best to match that, but I'm always so uncertain, so this means so much to me. I think I say that with every compliment I get, but I mean it.

And a_spider is such a perfect Moriarty fhfddsuf. Feei plays him beautifully and he's incredibly easy to play off of and I can't praise the characterization enough. I've played Sebastian without a Moriarty before, but I don't think I'd be able to play him properly at Ataraxion if I didn't have such a great Moriarty to bounce off of (even if it isn't his world's Moriarty).

So thank you so much, anon. This was such a nice comment to wake up to and I appreciate it so much. <3
